In honor of the weather Chicago has chosen to welcome me back from Turkey with, I give you a poem by the city’s most famous poet:
“Fog” by Carl Sandburg
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
Except, of course, it hasn’t yet done that.
